T-panel Murals

Lipe Art Park is looking for graffiti artists to paint on newly installed "T" Panel Structures with Lipe Art Park. This opportunity has 5 structures. Artists can decide if they want to work on all five or 1 structure.  Each structure is 4ft (w) x 10ft (h). These works will be on diplay for the public from July 2025 - July 2026.

Project Description:
Lipe Art Park invites artists to submit proposals for graffiti mural(s) on the new concrete "T" Panel structures throughout the park. These murals will be installed for a one year period under the curation of the Friends of Lipe Art Park (FLAP).

Each "T" Panel structure consists of three primary surfaces for graffiti. Please refer to the attached drawings for details on the size and shape of these surfaces. Artists should use these drawings as a foundation for their design proposals.

Award Amount: $500 per T-panel or $2,500 for all 5
*FLAP will cover material costs of $150 per T-panel or $750 for all T-panels

Artist Requirements:

• All artists must register with the Syracuse Public Artist Registry - click here

• The T Panel template and sizing information can be found here.

• The selected design must be reviewed and approved by the Syracuse Public Art Commission before the design can be printed. FLAP will help endorse and will work with the artist apply for approval.

• All artists must fill out the required Lipe Art Park T Panel Graffiti Mural Proposal Application below.
