ART EXTRAVAGANZA

The Friends of Lipe Art Park hosts an annual event celebrating the reveal of new art in Lipe Art Park. This event will be coordinated with the larger event that promotes public art within the City of Syracuse, the Art Trail. 

What to expect:

• Unveiling of newly commissioned artwork for the Art Flag, Graffiti T-Panel Murals, and Art Shark Murals

• Pop-up Art Tents for Vendors

• Local music

This project aims to enrich the community through art and engagement. To have a recurring art unveiling event that coincides with Arts Week will provide a platform for all of the artists involved. The murals and flag will have a sustained impact throughout the year as a showcase in the Lipe Art Park. This contributes to the local art scene and actively creates placemaking, where individuals from the Westside can take pride in their community and look forward to a new transformation in Lipe Art Park annually.
